As part of our ongoing commitment to improving and promoting best practice across our industry, we regularly work the CCMA to host Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
Historically we have held these as Quarterly face-to-face meetings in London, but this is currently not possible due to the pandemic. However, we know that – because of the pandemic – regular connection with other QA professionals is proving to be more valuable to members than ever.
We responded by offering interactive 1.5 hour bi-monthly calls at the beginning of the lockdown and will continue until we can resume our more ‘normal’ activity (and possibly beyond).
Our latest session included a brief introduction to the topic of Empathy as a coachable Emotional Intelligence competence. The secondary topic focused on delivering feedback to remote teams, which included breakout chats in smaller groups before returning to the main call to summarise key points and provide a chance for wider discussion and sharing of best practice.
